OUR LETTER HEAD AND BRIEF NOTES ON OUR ACTIVITIES

The founding members who have over 50 years experience in the field of Da’wah [Rafeek Hassen, Ali Manthosi and Farouk Modisane], together with the rest of the team, have ensured that this new Da’wah formation must not duplicate what already exists so as not to waste valuable money and resources of donors, & to provide services that are needed. Your valuable contributions make the ff. activities / projects from our up-to-date office possible : 

1. A Da’wah Caravan Motorhome for ‘After Sales Service’ : sponsored by Mr. AS Dada, that visits all the forgotten new Muslims in the villages, townships and rural areas of our country. Its good to bring people into Islam – but what about the follow up?  

2. A 24 hour automanaged Free Islamic Information National Call Centre 0861178611  

3. The compilation of a Da’wah Directory that details the key Da’wah individuals, organizations and institutions in South and Southern Africa. (draft available from office).  

4. The completion of the 30 para Zulu Quran. The late Moulana Cassim Sema mandated our Director, Rafeek Hassen in writing to get the second edition edited which will be launched Insha Allah early 2009.

5. Unique long awaited Pamphlet / DVD Stand – that does the Da’wah while you do your business.

6. Train-a-Trainer programs. – we are as good as our Teachers ! 

7. Assessing and assisting Da’wah Centers to bring their Da’wah operations to acceptable standards.  

8. We have created a strong forum for previously marginalized African Muslim brothers and sisters who need a sense of belonging and equal opportunity to interact and contribute. They see OODISA as a vehicle that can assist them in networking and uniting their Da’wah efforts. 

9. A unique and relevant range of CD’s, MP3’s, DVD’s and pamphlets on Islam and contemporary issues. 

     Alhamdolillah we have implemented and achieved all the above IN JUST a few MONTHS and with your help and support, we can only grow from strength to strength insha Allah.We are confident that together with your support and our committed team, Allah will make us witness the rise of Islam and Muslims in Southern Africa which currently only stands at an unacceptable 2% !!! Ameen.
